My sister, my pal

This morning we were up bright and early with Mr. Sunshine.  We keep telling ourselves that one of these days, everything is just going to fall into place and his sleep patterns will mesh with ours - or at least be closer than they are currently.  At any rate, we're up and everyone is in a good mood.  Bonus!

Nicole, our Social Worker, is coming over at 10:00 for our first post-placement interview.  This is to answer any questions that we might have about Joe Sung Min's transition as well as to see whether or not there are any concerns with the attachment and bonding that is happening with us.  Naturally, he turned on the charm and was as cute and as playful as can be.

The rest of the day was pretty uneventful - more playing with his big sister, who loves everything about her little brother except when he cries too much.  She was excited to have a day off of school and can't wait until she can show off Joe Sung Min to her friends and teachers at school.  Liv blew bubbles for Joe, sang to him and stacked some blocks for him to knock down.  She is an incredible big sister and Joe just loves her to pieces.  He gives her a big smile whenever he sees her and loves it when she picks him up.  Of course, the two peas in a pod also had to watch some Pororo together.  Liv has started to call Joe "Joe-roro" or "Porojoe".

Today's big excitement was taking a bath together -- I can tell these two are going to be inseparable in the weeks and years to come.
