Snow Fun/No Fun (Depends Who You Ask)

After months of waiting, the day Olivia has been waiting for finally arrived.  Here we are, in the middle of winter with no snow.  Until now.  Since Grandma and Grandpa have such a nice, big backyard, we decided to take Liv (and Joe) out for a little bit of winter fun.

Joe Sung Min looked adorable in his snowsuit - like a mini Olympian ready to hit the slopes.  His reaction was about what we expected.  After all, this is how he responded to sitting in the grass for the first time:

We thought he *might* actually like it -- after all, his best friend and big sister was right there with him, hugging him and holding on tight.  Brian pulled the two kids around the yard and he had a stunned look on his face (what little of it you could see underneath his trusty hat).

At this point, we took Joe off of the sled and he sat in the snow with me watching his big sister go off on her adventure in the snow.  And you know what? He actually started smiling.  Maybe this white stuff isn't so bad after all.  Sissy was sure having fun getting pulled around - and later running around, making and following tracks, making snow angels and trying to build a snowman. 


Maybe next time, he'll go from no fun to snow fun ... to be continued.
