Big News!

Our big news today is that we found a little something in the chicken coop today.  Yep, you guessed it - our first egg.  It was small but incredibly delicious.  Here's hoping this wasn't a fluke -- we're looking forward to finding more in the coming days.  And hopefully, the girls will figure out the nesting boxes are the best place for them to lay their eggs.  If not, every day we'll have our own Easter egg hunt.


Joe Sung Min is getting more mobile each day and is testing out his balancing skills, standing up then squatting down and standing up again.  Way to go, Joe!!  His eyes are looking better every day he notices everything. 


He and I had fun tonight when Liv and Brian went on their ice skating date.  She is doing amazing well and skates the whole time.  No rest for the Papa!!  Tonight, her friend Violet and her family from school (and church) were there and Liv taught her buddy how to skate.  Way to go, sister!


Joe is back to his tapping ways and tonight was alternating between his drum stick and a little plastic box. He discovered the sound it made on my belt buckle and was enthralled. I loved watching his expression as he tapped by belt buckle, then my leg, the buckle again, my stomach - trying to figure out why the sound was changing.  He finally figured it out and his face broke into a huge grin.  He is so much fun to watch as he learns new things.
